The Holy Grail of Connections Pt.1
In the early 2000s, my family transitioned to an Apple desktop, departing from the prevailing Windows operating system. Our neighbor, a proficient computer enthusiast, explored the system's functionalities with my father, an experience we found riveting. The novel distinction from Windows was a captivating avenue to explore. While the front-end settings of a computer were easily understandable, the back-end presented itself as a chronicle of a Narnia-like mystery. My neighbor introduced us to the command-line interface and developer page settings, piquing my interest in the hidden operations of a computer. Over time, our admiration for Apple burgeoned.
Fast forward to 2018, when I was entrusted with a LinkedIn Navigator license to cultivate professional relationships. During my initial months in this role, I conducted comprehensive research on leading companies utilizing Siemens for product development. To my surprise, nearly all pioneering companies featured Siemens prominently in their operations. I endeavored to craft an impeccable networking profile and scrutinize the acceptance ratio of such collaborations. Subsequently, I commenced sharing success case studies at periodic intervals, delineating the assessment and selection of the software for various projects, along with the resulting improvements in time and finances.
When I saw the robustness of my professional presence, I tried to establish a connection with an engineer at Apple. To my surprise, my outreach was promptly and unequivocally acknowledged. The incorporation of case studies served as a compelling catalyst for their interest. This initial liaison inspired me to cultivate connections with numerous leaders at Apple, encompassing design engineering teams and software divisions. Drawing upon discreet developer coding affiliations that constituted a valuable yet undisclosed asset, I found it invigorating to engage with some of the finest intellects globally, thereby remaining resolute in leaving an indelible impression.
Continuing to produce online content to fortify professional relationships, I simultaneously nurtured an avid curiosity to expand my network across additional corporate entities, including Meta, Amazon, SpaceX, and Google. While establishing a connection with an engineer was remarkable, my aspirations extended toward securing decision-making roles underpinned by substantial financial authority. To my disbelief, esteemed luminaries displayed an unwavering acceptance. Consequently, my motivation to foster this nascent network surged to unprecedented heights.
Subsequently, I directed my focus towards exploring more specialized business domains, oscillating between contemplations on sports cars and Formula 1 racing and delving into the niche realm of rocket-building startups, Hyperloop technology, as well as emerging electric and automated vehicle manufacturers such as Rivian, Lucid, and Zoox. My research and understanding sought to encapsulate the intricacies underlying the genesis of each product, regardless of whether it bore semblance to a hockey stick or a miniature electronic component. Gradually, I discerned the worth of my content through discernible viewership statistics. The subsequent illustrations present select instances that glimpse the breadth and depth of my professional network with two distinct companies.
